Teaching Note
Please note that this activity provides three variations of Find-a-Word Crosswords. As you can guess by the name, these games are a mix of find-a-word puzzles and traditional crosswords. They are ideal for reinforcing key marketing definitions, while building teams, and having a bit of fun while learning.
Each of the three puzzles are generally themed with the topics being:
- Marketing strategy and marketing mix elements
- Segmentation, target markets, and positioning
- Promotional mix, IMC, digital marketing
Each puzzle includes one missing word. While listed as a clue, this word does not appear in the Find-a-Word grid. Students are tasked with identifying the missing word, which serves as a quick and simple way for you to verify their engagement and understanding without needing to keep or review the full puzzle.
Time and Student Cohort Considerations
- Completion Time: Expect students to spend approximately 15–30 minutes per puzzle, depending on their familiarity with the topic and group dynamics.
